Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018: What I Bought (Part 2)

The sale finally opens up to the public today!!! Remember that the sale happens for a limited time and will end on August 6th. That means that all the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale goodies will go back to full price in-store and online. This sale is awesome for buying Fall staples like tops, dresses, knits, mules, booties, and handbags. You can not forget about the awesome skin care and makeup they have at unbeatable prices!

Today, I am extremely excited to share with you what I received in the mail (finally!). Remember that it’s important to buy now rather than later because things tend to sell out very quickly. Nordstrom always provides free shipping & returns, so when there’s something I want I buy it then if I change my mind, I can always return it – hassle free! TEE & SKINNY JEANS

This Striped Scoop Neck Tee is the perfect layering piece and just under $20!  It’s definitely a closet staple year-round and goes with just about any outfit.  Here I paired it with these AG Ankle Skinny Jeans and these new neutral booties – all on sale. These ankle jeans are perfect for my petite frame and the dark wash will be great for Fall outfits.

The booties come in a variety of colors and I always opt for a neutral tan tone like the mushroom color here. The boots are very comfy and waterproof!

FAUX FUR JACKET

I threw this Faux Fur Jacket over the look for a fun Fall look.  I’m a sucker for faux fur and this soft, cozy jacket comes in a pretty mocha color and will definitely keep me warm and stylish.

THE PINK BLAZER

I am so excited about this piece from J.Crew! This blazer comes in petite and regular sizes and in multiple colors! I purchased the blazer in a size 00P in pink and I’m so in love with the bright color!  The blazer can easily be paired with a pencil skirt, jeans or worn over a dress.  I love pairing it up with this romper I got from my store, Morning Lavender. It’s both feminine and fun! As for shoes, I am wearing these Vince Nude Mules, also on sale. I love wearing tan mules because they are very flattering. These Vince Nude Mules are actually very comfortable to wear and I will definitely be wearing these year-round.

RIB WRAP SWEATER

This is one of my favorite items from the sale.  This wrap sweater is so flattering and versatile – I’m wearing it here with jeans but later on you will find me layering it and also dressing it for the office. This particular wrap sweater is super soft and can worn slightly off the shoulder as well! At $40, it is one of the best items from the sale! I might just snag it up in all the other colors!

THE DRAPED COAT

This draped draped coat from BB Dakota is perfect for Fall, especially in California where it doesn’t get too cold. It’s extremely soft and comfortable and the size XS fits me well. I paired this outfit with light washed ankle skinny jeans, also on sale from Free People. I love the fit and slight distress at the knees! As for shoes, I am loving these blush pink mules! These are under $50 and makes my entire look more polished. The open toe mules come in a variety of colors and I couldn’t decide which color I loved more!

THE CARDIGAN

I love wearing pink for all the seasons. This cardigan from Leith is super lightweight and easy to throw on! I threw it over my favorite wrap sweater from the sale with a pair of light wash denim!

All of these tops go perfectly with this Halogen Pencil Skirt. I tucked it into a pencil skirt – which is a great look for the office. You can pair any of these tops with jeans for a more casual look.

THE KNEE HIGH BOOTS

I love dressing for the Fall because I get to wear knee-high boots – especially these two I bought from the sale! Are you obsessed with these like I am?! These black boots are from Nine West – under $90! What a steal! This boot features a pointy toe and stiletto heels – providing a very glam look.

Next up! Introducing, the Sam Edelman Caprice Knee-High Boots! The boots come in a classic block heel that provides support and a little cushion foot. I am a fan of Sam Edelman shoes because of how comfy they are! I love the beautiful caramel suede color which will work nicely for Fall. I also love the color because it blends with my skin well. It makes my legs look longer, which I appreciate!
