Here is my second look from a fun getaway in Mammoth! I must be honest – I’m not much of a snowboarder or skier (I’m very scared of heights) but I LOVE the snow so it was fun to ride the gondola up to the top of the mountain and enjoy the beautiful weather! It was a bit windy up top so I made sure to wear lots of layers to keep warm.
This weekend, we squeezed in some R&R by spending a fun weekend in Mammoth with some of our friends. We had a great time enjoying the beautiful snow, taking photos (of course), eating a lot (of course) and just hanging out in our cozy cabin. Being from Southern California, I don’t get to dress up in winter layers that often, so it’s kind of fun to dress for the cold weather (sometimes). I’m finally getting more mileage out of my Hunter Tour Boots (please rain more SoCal) and my comfy and warm winter parka from ASOS that actually comes in petite sizes and has a cute detachable fur hoodie. Don’t miss out – ASOS is having a great SALE where you can save $50 off if you spend $200 or more with code FRESH50! You can get this parka and that lace midi dress I raved about in my previous post!

I just love cozy sweaters. Here I mixed one of my favorite sweaters I bought this season with more glamorous accessories to create a chic winter look. For a slightly more casual and relaxed look, I left the belt off. I loved this particular look so much that I wore it again when I went to Tahoe this past weekend. It wasn’t as cold as previous winters so I was able to pull off this look without freezing my butt off =).
