The Stuart Weitzman Over the Knee Boots are definitely a splurge but in my opinion, definitely worth it. I have short legs and these boots hold up well and even elongate my legs a bit. I have tried plenty of other over the knee boots and they often sag and I find myself struggling to keep them up. The boots are also relatively comfy even with the 4″ heel but I haven’t worn them for a full day of walking yet. I’m always amazed by the ladies who wear these babies on those winter vacations in the snow or walking around all day in NYC! Another plus to these boots is that they come in so many gorgeous colors at Nordstrom. I’m going to have to convince the hubs to let me get them in another color. Maybe a Christmas gift if you are reading this babe hint, hint ;).
Fall is in full swing and temperatures are even starting to drop slightly here in SoCal. Two of my favorite Fall trends happening right now are polka dots and sock booties. My husband (aka photographer) actually told me “are you wearing socks with your shoes?” and I laughed and replied “they are actually sock booties!” I guess I should be happy he noticed how they are suppose to look? I found this pair from Jeffrey Campbell surprisingly comfortable thanks to the neoprene material. I admit I tried to rock the white leather booties that are super trendy right now but they just weren’t very comfortable to me, especially compared to the black neoprene ones. And I’m really scared of getting the white ones dirty lol. Anyway, I’m so happy Nordstrom has so many options I can try and in so many different price points. And I’m even happier they offer trend dresses like this polka dot dress in size XS for petite gals like me :).
It still quite warm here in SoCal so I’m still transitioning over to Fall looks. I’ve traded my pastel favorites in for darker tones and lately I’ve been trying to incorporate red more into my wardrobe. I saw these red bow shoes from River Island and I thought it would be a fun way to play with some color. I kept the rest of the look simple – I love how you can re-style any of these pieces to create versatile looks for Fall.
Today I’m sharing this casual & comfy look wearing one of my new Fall staples: these fun & fabulous leopard slip on shoes from UGG. I own a few of the UGG Classic Boots but I love that UGG has expanded their designs to include more versatile and stylish footwear. I also love that I can find so many selections of fabulous shoes look these at Nordstrom! I’ve been traveling a lot for work lately so having a pair of comfy, yet stylish shoes is a must. This entire outfit will make my frequent trips to and from the airport all that easier!
There’s a current heatwave going on right now in SoCal but I don’t want to miss out on all of these fabulous finds for the Fall. As I mentioned, a bunch of things are already selling out so make sure to go online at Nordstrom and make your purchases. With Nordstrom’s amazing return policy, you can always return them easily if it doesn’t work out!

I’m so petite – I should probably wear heels all the time. But being a photographer and full time boutique owner has me running around all day long. I have been on the hunt for shoes that are both comfy and stylish and found these lovely lace up flats from Zara! I love that these flats are suede and they go well with just about anything thanks to its neutral color. I found this fun dress from Topshop and I usually don’t wear red but I’m starting to love it a lot!

Pretty neat, huh?
My love for Spring continues with this scallop shift dress from Urban Outfitters. I love the peachy color of the dress, scallop trimming throughout and simple, shift silhouette. I added even more color to the look with my new colorful floral pumps from Louise et Cie. Spring is the perfect time to mix some color into your wardrobe so why not?! It’s amazing how a little color can brighten your mood and your day!
I can’t believe summer is right around the corner! Luckily in Southern California we are blessed with some pretty amazing weather all throughout the year so I find myself wearing comfy sandals more often than not. I love wearing simple sandals to (1) avoid unnecessary tan lines and (2) because more straps (especially around the ankles) can make petite gals like me look even shorter. Here are some of my favorite sandals for the spring and summer seasons. They will look fabulous with any outfit – a fun romper, floral maxi dress or a polka dot bikini =).
