It’s full on romper season for me and I love it! Add ruffles and an adorable self-tying bow and I’ve found myself the perfect romper. Besides the annoying inconvenience of taking off your romper when you go to the bathroom (you know what I’m talking about ladies), rompers for me are so easy and versatile to wear. When I can’t decide what to wear, I throw on a stripe or floral romper for my go-to look for everyday casual wear and for nights out when I don’t feel like wearing a dress, I’ll put on a darker or lacey romper, add a fitted blazer and cute black clutch.
Spring is here and I’m happy as can be with the warmer days, extra sunlight and my favorite – Spring rompers! The one shoulder trend has made a come back this season and I’m OBSESSED with this new one shoulder striped romper I curated for Morning Lavender. I feel extra girlie and feminine in this romper with its ruffle detailing, bow waist and pretty powder blue stripes. I also compiled some of my other favorite cute rompers of the moment at the bottom of this post so be sure to check them out!
I love how versatile and comfy this off the shoulder romper is! It’s such a simple look that can be dressed down or up. I added a cute belt and some of my favorite accessories to pull this simple look together. With the dark denim wash, this romper is a great transition from Summer to Fall.

If you been following my blog, you know that I just love wearing rompers! I think rompers are very comfortable and flattering on petite gals like myself. One of my go-to sites to shop for rompers is ASOS thanks to their great selection of dressy and casual rompers and petite friendly sizing. I found this darling nude bow romper and immediately became obsessed with the oversized bow and overall feminine look. I can wear rompers all the time so having a dressy one that I can wear to nicer occasions is just perfect!
I shared a neutral Valentine’s look and a romantic black lace skirt, and here’s my last Valentine’s inspired look with a pretty pop of red! I love the gorgeous red color and detailing of this lovely long sleeve lace romper! It’s a great, flirty date night look that’s comfortable and sexy at the same time! Hope you enjoyed all of my Valentine’s Day looks this year and whether you have plans or celebrating being single this year, it’s always fun to get a little dressed and dolled up, don’t you think?! =)
This romper is a size Small and the torso does run a bit short so it fits more like an XS, which is perfect for me! I would recommend ordering a size up!
I can’t believe Christmas is already next week! And that means NYE is just around the corner! If you are looking for a fun holiday look, I love this romper from Morning Lavender with it’s pretty shimmery, gold color and fun, flowy shape! As you know I love wearing rompers (as yes the comforts of a romper outweighs the bathroom inconveniences in my opinion), so when I find a romper that works well for evening looks, I have to have it! I might even add black tights, booties and change to a leather jacket like this favorite leather jacket from Nordstrom to edge up the look even more. The husband and I don’t really have any crazy party plans this year but who knows?! All I know is that it has been an amazing, crazy, busy year so far and I am not quite ready to say goodbye yet!

The husband and I actually stumbled upon this new art installation on a recent day out in LA. It’s kinda creepy but cool at the same time. We immediately pulled over as it was the perfect place for a photo opt and luckily I was wearing my favorite romper of the moment – this one from Morning Lavender. I love this romper because it transitions from day to night so easily. For day, I can wear it with my favorite sandals and a floppy hat or denim shirt. We were planning on meeting one of our wedding couples for drinks later that evening so I had the perfect nighttime transition for this look. For night, I threw on some evening accessories like this snakeskin Black Crop Jacket and leopard clutch. And a trick to look taller? Wear shoes that match the color of your tan ;). And if you can believe it, the husband and I got even tanner from our recent trip to Mexico!
Today I’m sharing another recent favorite romper of mine – this one from my boutique Morning LavenderMorning Lavender Lace Romper. Rompers are a pain for us girls to use the bathroom but I swear they are so comfy and cute – it makes up for it! A sad story (kind of) about my shoes – recently on our flight from Boston->NYC, we noticed upon landing in NYC that someone had broken the lock on our checked in suitcase. It was not TSA because they would not have to break the lock and because they usually leave a note if they had searched our bag. Our bag looked like it had been rummaged through but at first inspection, it looked as if nothing had been stolen. A couple of days later while in NYC, I was looking for my favorite mules (pictured below) and noticed they were nowhere to be found! Someone had stolen my mules that were sold out on Nordstrom and Dillards! And they were size 5 – who steals size 5 shoes?! I’m fortunate they weren’t my favorite pair of bow shoes, but still just the thought of someone violating your stuff sucks. I went on a frantic search online and actually found them on sale at Nordstrom Rack! So I bought 2 new pairs (size 6) but they are just a teeny bit too big. So that’s my shoe story and moral of the story? Don’t steal people!
By now, you know my fondness for lace and rompers. Get them together and add pockets and I’m in love! Summer is the perfect time of the year to wear rompers and I especially love wearing ones that you can easily transition to night. I curated this particular one for Morning Lavender because I just love the delicate detail throughout, contrasting nude lining underneath and open key hole back. There are so many details of this romper – it’s hard to believe how inexpensive it is!
I apologize for the lack of blog posts lately! We just got back from an amazing trip to Japan (photos coming soon) and I have been extremely busy catching up with all my work the past week! So many exciting things are happening and it’s hard to believe it is May already! These days, I like to wear a comfy romper or maxi dress when I am busy working. Rompers and maxis are the most comfortable for me – maybe because they are really adult onesies ;). This one here is one of my favorites for Spring and from my boutique, Morning Lavender. I paired it with this gorgeous lace kimono, also from Morning Lavender to dress up the look a bit. I love the detail on this kimono so much and wish I could wear it all the time!
