It’s my birthday and I’ll wear green if I want to! :). I usually don’t wear a lot of green but whenever I do, I always wonder why I don’t wear more of the gorgeous color. I just adore all of the pretty lace dresses from ASOS and instantly fell in love with this off the shoulder lace midi dress in the prettiest shade of emerald green. I love the midi lengths ASOS carries – you might remember me in this pink lace midi dress in this blog post HERE. They have so many gorgeous styles in this type of lace – check out the end of my blog post for some of my favorites!
Today I’m sharing this flirty white lace dress that’s as cute from the back as it is from the front! I love lace dresses that have that extra special detail to them and this one wins with the cutest ruffles. I’ve been asked a lot about my experience with shopping at Chicwish and I must say although it takes a while to get your merchandise (~ 2-3 weeks), the quality is surprisingly good for the affordability. This dress is only $56! I would order from them if you aren’t in a rush to get your items but do want something trendy and cute. And you can see where I like to splurge – my handbags :). I’m wearing my favorite Chanel Vanity Bag – it was such a journey to get this bag (I called a billion Chanel stores domestic and international before getting it through the personal shopping department at Saks Fifth Avenue) and I’m clearly obsessed with it.
On today’s post, I’m sharing a very pretty off the shoulder lace dress in the prettiest shade of mauve. This dress is meant to be midi on most average heights (see dress on the model) but on my petite frame, it cuts right at my ankles when I wear heels. It’s kind of a weird spot for the dress to hit but I still think it’s a very flattering dress due to its high waisted seam. I love Spring and I’m looking forward to all of the gorgeous Spring dresses!
Today I’m sharing one of my favorite dresses that I purchased on Nordstrom’s site. I’ve been in love with Self Portrait dresses for some time now and I love that they have been recently added to Nordstrom’s gorgeous selection of dresses. I needed a dress for my special birthday date night dinner last week and it was very helpful to find such a wide and nice selection of dresses available on Nordstrom.com. I received the dress just in time thanks to Nordstrom’s great shipping policy and received a ton of compliments when I wore this dress for our delicious dinner at Providence in LA. The beauty of this dress speaks for itself with its incredible lace detailing and lovely midi length. It is a bit of splurge but the quality and fit of the dress are flawless. This is definitely one of those dresses that make you feel confident and feminine and to me that’s worth it ;).

One of my travel goals has always been to visit the amazing lavender fields in Provence! I have this obsession with lavender (as you can tell by my boutique name Morning Lavender), and the husband obliged and let us take a day trip to the south of France in search for this stunning scenery. We took the 3 hour train ride from Paris to Avignon, rented a car, passed through the charming town of Gordes and ended up in Sault 1 hour later where the lavender was endless and the sun was just about the set. It smelled heavenly everywhere and after you got over the fact that there were just as many bees as there were lavender, you realized how lucky you are to experience such a beautiful place. Renting a car in the countryside allowed us to see so much more of Provence and we fell in love with the charm and simplicity of the region. I’d love to go back sometime and see more of the gorgeous countryside!
Paris is one of our favorite cities in the world so the hubs and I always find ourselves traveling back there. We even got married in France! We love taking in the sights, culture, food and just the beautiful architecture. I love the ornate detailing of so many of the buildings and the romantic vibe of the entire city. I combined my love for feminine clothing with the city’s romantic setting and came up with this colorful, feminine look. I wear this lace top often because it goes so great with skirts. One of my favorite ways to wear it is with a full maxi skirt as seen in this blog post. The lace top worked well with my new colorblock midi skirt and I loved all of the pretty colors in one skirt.

My off the shoulder obsession continues and I’m in love with this new red lace off the shoulder dress! I love all of the detailing, the sleeves and the of course, the bright pop of color that goes well with Palm Springs or any Summer destination. It’s a great travel dress (the thick lace doesn’t wrinkle), especially for a fun date night on your trip. It’s a sexy and flirty dress and the lace gives it an ultra feminine touch! The husband even gave me a thumbs up on this dress ;).
If I could wear lace everyday, I probably would! Lately, I have also been living in off the shoulder styles. I especially love to mix and match different textures like this fun off the shoulder denim top with this pretty lace pencil skirt. The whole look is flirty and breezy – perfect for a Spring to Summer transition.
What better way to dress up a simple, denim look than with a pop of color in the form of pink bow heels?! These affordable statement shoes (only $25!) might not be the most comfortable but they are the cutest!
Remember this lovely pastel pink midi dress?! Well ASOS just released a pencil skirt version of it and I think I might just love it as much as the original. What’s not to love about the crop top style, lace detailing and gorgeous pop of pink?! The fit is so perfect with its Petite sizing and I didn’t have to alter it one bit. I added my favorite feminine accessories of course to complete the head-to-toe look.
