I love combining pretty colors – such as this love combination of pink + grey. These pretty hues add a feminine flair to what is considered a casual look. I am in love with my new roll up chinos from Banana Republic which are comfy and flattering at the same time. I am also wearing my new crossbody tote bag from Madewell which is the perfect size for me! I love how you can wear it three ways: crossbody, on one side, or as a satchel. It holds everything I need without overwhelming my petite frame.
I seriously have spent most of last year searching for the perfect wide leg black pant! I wanted them to be high-waisted and the pant leg to be wide but not too wide where my small frame looks like I am swimming in them! And then recently I found the perfect pair from Ann Taylor. I got these pants in size 00 Petite and they fit me perfectly and they are currently 60% off! I love the silhouette of the pants and with a pair of black heels or booties – you can amazingly look way taller. I also paired the pants with a lovely blouse also from Ann Taylor (and 40% off) and my classic camel coat from Morning Lavender. I love this head-to-toe chic workday look! It’s time to get cranking in 2015!
Here’s another inspiration look I put together for New Year’s Eve. As much as I love being glamorous, sometimes I want to just look cute and comfortable at the same time! This outfit combines some girlie glamour with the sequins and tulle with some added edge of the leather jacket and comforts of tights and wedged booties. It’s the perfect NYE look if you want to keep a bit warmer, be a bit more comfortable and last all night dancing and ringing in 2015 :).
I’m sorry for the lack of posts lately! It’s been a crazy few weeks with work but I promise I have a lot of posts coming up! I love wearing this shift dress from Liberty Sage because it is so chic and comfortable at the same time! Plus it is a beautiful shade of gray! I also love dressing up simple pieces like this dress by adding sparking jewelry, fun shoes and a larger handbag.
Have a great weekend everyone!
So by now you may have guessed that I love the color pink and also wear mostly dresses/skirts. I’ve been wearing a lot of fit and flare dresses lately because they are just so much fun and flattering. The simple one from Lulu’s is super comfortable and has the prettiest shade of pink.
On another note, I just wanted to thank everyone for the support my new boutique! It launched a month ago and already I’m getting so much wonderful feedback! I am blessed to do so many things I love!
Happy Tuesday y’all! I have been trying to make a conscious effort to post on Mondays but it hasn’t been working so well lol. We got back from Texas on Saturday and I feel like a need a vacation from my vacation. But as a wedding photographer, this is always my busiest month of the year so there is no such thing as rest! Anyhoo, I wanted to share this outfit because I am wearing my favorite new shoes and new handbag! These pieces are the perfect compliments to my already girly wardrobe. The shoes from Joe’s are especially comfortable and can be paired with almost anything! The Kate Spade handbag was more of a fun buy – I usually don’t buy purses with prints but this one was too cute to resist! I thought I deserve a lil’ fun for all the hard work this month ;).
There is seriously something so feminine and flattering about Ann Taylor dresses. The shape of this dress is especially flattering and I love the mix of camel and black. It’s a great go-to dress for wanting to look polished and sophisticated without breaking the bank. And the best part is that is currently 30% OFF on the WEBSITE!
Box clutches are a simple and small way to make a great statement! I have a couple of them and they are so versatile and perfect for nights out. You can see some of my outfit posts wearing them HERE and HERE.
Here are some of my favorite new styles – ranging from affordable options to more designer brands.

Happy Monday everyone!!! Ok so the weather has been unusually warm here in SoCal lately (high of mid-80’s) and my closet is so confused right now. I may have a teensy bit more clothes than closet space (I’m not sure why my husband just won’t surrender his side of the closet to me) which means I usually pack up my summer clothes in storage boxes in the winter and swap them in the summer and vice versa. I just bought this super cute romper from Urban Outfitters and decided to embrace this splendid warm weather. This romper makes me feel really girly so I paired it with my favorite handbag – my gorgeous rose pink Louis Vuitton Alma bag. I bought this bag for myself on my second trip to Paris in 2010. I went to the flagship LV store on Champs Elysee and immediately fell in love with my idea of pink perfection. Unfortunately the sales lady told me there was only one of these left in all of France, but luckily for me it was only 10 minutes away. So I ran off to find her and bring her home with me to the States (I think I was smiling the whole plane ride home with her on my lap). My husband still thinks it was the ultimate sales pitch by the LV sales lady but I don’t care – I love her and she’s all mine =).

Earlier I shared my favorite yellow maxi skirt and now I am showing how to dress it up for the holidays. Pair it with a fun sweater, a sparkly necklace and a classic Chanel handbag and you got the perfect holiday look! By the way, I love Ann Taylor and ASOS because they both have petite sizes! It’s always hard to find clothes for my 5’0 frame and I usually have to hem everything, but this maxi skirt was the perfect length.
A side story about my Chanel handbag. I splurged on this after completely booking out my 2nd year as a full time wedding photographer. I had always wanted one and this was my pat on the back to myself for all of my hard work of running my own business. To this day, it’s a reminder of my determination and success in my business. I love it for this reason and also because it’s so classically beautiful!
Ok now back to finishing up the Christmas shopping! =)
