I put together this classic look filled with some of my favorite things: bows, polka dots, neutrals and of course Chanel :). This is a great look that’s perfect for the office and Fall weather. I love how feminine and classic pieces work well in this neutral palette.
I am really obsessed with this pink halter dress from ASOS! I just love how feminine it is with its fit and flare shape and light pink color, but is also sexy at the same time with a deep plunge neckline and low open back. The dress comes in a scuba material that helps retain it’s feminine shape and adds extra flair to the entire look. An added bonus is the dress comes in petite sizes so it was a perfect midi length for me. It’s definitely one of those dresses that you just neeeeed in your closet!
I’m back in Los Angeles and loving the summer weather here – not too hot or humid ;). It’s the perfect time of the year to wear all those pretty summer dresses and one of my favorite styles this season is the off the shoulder dress. I found this one adorable dress from Stylestalker that fit me perfectly in size XS. I love the darling details as well as the fit and flare shape of the dress! I wore it with my favorite new heels from Kay Unger and yes, I am obsessed with bows on my shoes =).
So lately I’ve been slightly obsessed with the color navy. I’ve been wanting a navy handbag and when I found this darling satchel with a gorgeous gold bow from Ted Baker, I just couldn’t resist! You know me and bows :). I also loved the scallop dress I wore in this blog post so much that I ordered the version with sleeves from Urban Outfitters. This one with sleeves is actually made of spandex and rayon and the sleeveless version is polyester so it’s of a thinner, more lightweight material. What do you guys think?! Do you like the version with or without sleeves?! I kind of love both lol.
Hi my name is Kim Le and I am addicted to midi skirts and bows. I try not to wear skirts everyday but when you find a beauty like this one, you can’t really help it! When I bought this one for my boutique, I knew I had to keep one for myself! I named it Belle because it has this great bell shape to it and it really makes you feel so girlie when you wear it! And I knew I had to pair it with my favorite new heels – these darling bow pumps from ASOS!
For Valentine’s Day (actually we celebrated a day early), the hubby surprised me with a mini getaway to downtown Los Angeles (about 45 min from where we live). I have been wanting to check out the new Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles and the hubby planned a romantic and fun day exploring the city. I love the hip and modern vibe of each Ace Hotel. And I especially loved all of the gold hardware and checkered floors of this one. While at the hotel, the hubs shot me in this lovely floral skirt and bow top from Charlotte Russe. I loved the window light in our room so we decided to just do the shoot there. I loved how these images turned out with the side light. After my turn was over, I made sure to get some photographs of the hubby as well =). I’d say I’m a pretty lucky gal!
P.S. Can you guess which images were shot with my iphone? (hint they are square)
Valentine’ Day is just around the corner and here are some of my favorite holiday picks – for that someone special or simply for yourself. All of these goodies are so pretty and sweet, how can you resist them?! Whenever I create these “wish lists”, I always ending up buying more than wishing…sigh. Anyhow, click on the goodies to see where you can find them and we can be Valentine twinsies lol.
As you may realize by now, I’m pretty obsessed with shopping online at ASOS. Everything is super stylish and affordable and their petite line fits me really well. I actually wish I could fit their regular sizes because there are even more stylish options. When I saw this dress on ASOS recently, I immediately fell in love. This dress is totally my style – romantic, girly, soft and pretty. It’s the perfect dress for a romantic Valentine’s Date or spending the afternoon shopping with your girlfriends. I love the high collar detail with the bow and I think it would look just as pretty with a black high waisted skirt worn over it. I styled the look with a chunkier pair of heels to give it a bit more edge and personality.
This outfit makes me feel like quite a lady. I love the midi length that is so popular right now – it makes any skirt look so chic and polished. I especially love this pleated midi skirt from Modcloth because it does fit me well and because it has POCKETS! I’m a sucker for any dress or skirt with pockets =). And I am also a sucker for anything with a bow on it hence the sweater and the shoes here (and the title of this blog post) =). This skirt is really wonderful for any occasion – pair it with a blouse for the office or a cute crop top for going out at night. For more colorful options on the midi skirt, check out my blog post from yesterday!
On a personal note, the hubs and I have been busy buying furniture and decorating our new home! It’s our first time being homeowners and we can’t wait to share when things get a bit more finalized!
